Rimmel London Clean Finish Foundation Review

I recently bought the Rimmel London Clean Finish Foundation. It has a thick consistency but it does dry fast so you have to work in sections. Its dries darker so you may want to get a shade lighter for the right match. It was only $3.95 at Walmart. It is a medium coverage but it is buildable to a full coverage and not cakey. It has a scent to it but it is not that bad the scent goes away once the foundation sets. For a drugstore foundation this one I do recommend you try. I am not getting paid to write this review. I purchased with my own money.

ADA Cosmetics Review

MS 51

Peach Bronzer

MS 90

I was sent these products from ADA Cosmetics to review. The orange and green mineral eye shadow are matte and very pigmented. The peach bronzer gives a nice glow. The minreal eye shadows retail on their site for $11.95 and the bronzer is $12.45. ADA Cosmetics

New to Eye Shadow? Try These Tips

Tip 1:  Apply a primer or base to the eyelid. This helps keep the eye shadow on all day.
My recommendations are Urban Decay Primer Potion about $18.00 or a more budget friendly option works just as good is Ruby Kisses.24hr Eye Shadow Magic Primer $5.00.

Tip 2: Choose colors that complement your eyes and/or skin tone. I personally love to wear bold colors. I know most ladies won't feel comfortable wearing bright colors. I suggest jewel tones and neutral shades.

Tip 3: Apply only your highlight to on your brow bone. I usually wear a white or a neutral shade that is close to my complexion.

Tip 4: When wearing different eye shadow colors blend the colors for a smooth transition from one color to the next. A rule of thumb is to apply the lightest shade first, then the medium shade and last the darker shade on the outer corner and in the crease. Blend the darker shade on the outer corner going in a V.

Tip 5: When you wear bold and bright colors a nude or neutral lip will complete the look as well as a light colored blush or bronzer.

There are many good drugstore eye shadows that are very pigmented and last as long as the high end eye shadows. Some of my favorite drugstore brands include Maybelline, Covergirl, Wet N Wild, L.A. Colors and NYX.

My Top 5 Drugstore/Dollar Finds

1. Biore' Deep Cleaning Pore Strips

Omg when these came out I was curious to know if they worked. It exceed my expectations all my blackheads were gone. That is my favorite brand for skincare.

2. Wet-N-Wild Eye Shadows

These are very pigmented and for 1.99-4.99 it's is a great deal

3. L.A Colors Cosmetics

Very pigmented eye shadows and the lipsticks very nice. I love the new jumbo eye pencils they are very creamy and pigmented. I feel they are just as good as NYX jumbo eye pencils. The makeup brushes are very soft and get the job done. I love their products.

4 Garnier Frutis Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

I love washing my hair with these. They smell so good. I also have the anti-frizz serum and it works wonders.
Also the flat iron heat protectant spray keeps your hair from getting dried out from the using heat from blow dryers and curling and flat irons.

5. Hard Candy Primer

It works so good and keeps your makeup on all day. I apply this before I put on my foundation. It feels really light not greasy.

Got Ashy Skin? Try This Homemade Face Mask

Things You Will Need
2 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. warm water

Stir sugar into warm water so that it melts.
Make sure granules are dissolved, otherwise they could tear your skin.
Apply to the face.
Gently massage around the skin.
Rinse with warm water OR I like to take a warm washcloth that's steamed in the microwave. Make sure the washcloth is not too hot.

Create Your Own CD Eye Shadow Palette

Things you will need to create your own eye shadow palette

Eye shadows
Scissors or utility knife
Flat Iron
Wax Paper
Empty CD case
Glue or Magnetic Strips
Rubbing Alcohol

Step 1. Plug in and turn on the flat iron.

Step 2. Using the utility knife or scissors look for where the plastic casing that holds the shadows and the plastic container meet and use the knife to lift it up from the plastic casing.

Step 3. Once the plastic holding the eye shadows is separate from the casing lay the wax paper on the flat iron and place the eye shadow on top of the wax paper.

Step 4. Leave the plastic on there for about 2-3 minutes so the plastic can melt.

Step 5. Once the plastic is melted use the knife to lift the pan from the plastic.

Step 6. Use the rubbing alcohol to remove the glue from the bottom of the eye shadow pan,

Step 7. If using the magnetic sheet cut to fit the inside of the CD case peel of the back.

Step 8.Once cut and place inside the CD case or if gluing start with a line of glue on the inside of the CD case.

Step 9. Place the eye shadow pan on the magnetic sheet or on the glue. Repeat all the steps until your palette is filled up.

Hint: Start at the bottom left corner and go up for an even palette.

Bella Cosmetics Rant

Okay so last year I was talked into buying a mineral foundation I didn't need. It's by Bella Cosmetics. I have used different mineral foundations in the past but I am really not feeling this one. Maybe it is the color is too dark for my complexion. I could just feel like I was really taken advantage of. I would not really recommend the Bella Cosmetics mineral foundation. They're eyeshadows are good but that is my personal opinion.

Bold Makeup

I love rich and bold colors. I don't like being plain Jane. This is the look I came up with today. I used to do modeling and I would do something like this for a themed photoshoot.
